BALTIMORE — Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson did not start the second half of Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans and the team announced that he is questionable to return due to a left ankle injury. Backup Tyler Huntley started the second half for the Ravens.

Jackson looked like he was walking with a slight limp as he walked to the sideline following a late second-quarter sack by Jermaine Johnson II. He had a conversation with members of the Ravens’ athletic training staff and then headed to the locker room early before second-year kicker Tyler Loop ended the half with a 64-yard field goal to give Baltimore a 24-7 lead.

Jackson came out after halftime wearing a winter hat as Huntley warmed up to come into the game. Jackson did have a conversation on the sideline with head coach Jesse Minter before Baltimore’s first offensive series after halftime.

It brought an end to a strong first half for Jackson, who completed 15 of 20 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran twice for 20 yards.

Jackson was limited in Wednesday’s practice this past week with a back injury. However, he practiced in full Thursday and Friday. The two-time MVP was limited to 13 games last season by myriad injuries.

Jackson’s injury highlights a physically taxing first half for the Ravens. Andrew Vorhees, who replaced Vega Ioane at right guard with Ioane being needed to start at center, has been declared out with a foot injury. Cornerback Marlon Humphrey has also been knocked out of the game with a calf injury.
