USA soccer now accepting applications for Fall Awards from youth organizations, middle schools and high schools girls flag football programs enrolled in USA Football.
To be eligible for the fall grant, youth organizations, municipal youth programs, middle schools and high school girls’ flag football programs must:
- Get enrolled in USA Football (FREE to do here).
- Be legally designated as a non-profit and in good standing (501c3 organization or tax exempt by state)
- Be clear of any outstanding invoices with USA Football
USA Football’s grant programs are not designed to serve high school utility programs, adult programs and for-profit organizations and, as such, those organizations are not eligible to apply.
What are the Val Grant equipment options?
- Uniforms and ancillary equipment (coach equipment, field equipment, other items)
- Non-contact (flag) football equipment (USAFB branded tires and balls)
- Restricted or modified (padded flag) football equipment (USAFB branded tires and balls)
- Don football equipment (helmets, shoulder pads and other safety equipment)
To access the grant application, you will need to ensure that your organization is registered with USA Football, then you will need your USA Football user account / login information; you will not be able to proceed with the grant application otherwise.
What information do I need to complete the grant application?
To complete the grant application, you will need the following information to hand BEFORE you start the application:
- Centuries of youth served
- What football options does your organization currently offer
- What new game types did your organization add in 2026
- If you have received a grant from USA Football in the past
- A brief description of how the grant will be used
- Which grant option your organization needs most
We strongly recommend that you complete all application questions as accurately as possible, as applications with inaccurate, incomplete or missing information may be removed from consideration.
USA Football’s application system does not allow you to save your application and resume later; you must complete the application in a single session.
The deadline to apply is 2 September 2026
