No. 20 Florida has had quite the up-and-down 2026 season through seven weeks. The offense has looked untouchable in wins over Auburn and Ole Miss but sluggish in losses to Missouri and South Carolina. The defense struggled for much of the season until Florida’s most recent outing against Texas, when the Gators blitzed on a whopping 63% of drop backs and held the Longhorns scoreless for more than three quarters of game time in a 27-24 win.
Still, the Gators enter their Week 8 bye with a respectable 5-2 (3-2 SEC) record. But how do they rank statistically compared to the rest of the country?
Let’s take a look.
