Humble is a three-star quarterback for Harker Heights High School in Texas and a member of the class of 2027. In a post on his X account, he announced his commitment to Jackson State.
“COMMITTED to THEE Jackson State! All glory to God. Thank you to my family, teammates, coaches, teachers, friends & everyone that has supported me along the way! Excited to play for Coach Taylor, Coach Kirk & the staff at JSU. Most honored to join THEE best, winningest and history rich football program,” Humble said.
Humble has accumulated solid statistics over his past two seasons of high school ball, throwing for 6,464 yards and 74 touchdowns. The numbers come after he’s improved his output year after year.
During his sophomore year in 2024, he threw for 2,986 yards and 38 touchdowns against 8 interceptions. He didn’t let up, following that performance by throwing for 3,478 yards and 36 touchdowns with 8 interceptions in his junior campaign. He led Harker Heights to a district championship and was awarded MVP of District 12-6A after his standout performance.
Jackson State has churned out talented quarterbacks over the past few seasons under current head coach T.C. Taylor and former head coach Deion Sanders. The program has boasted Shedeur Sanders, who led the team to immense success in the SWAC, and Jacobian Morgan, who led Jackson State to their Celebration Bowl victory in 2024.
Now, with Jared Lockhart at the helm of the offense, Humble looks to operate as a QB in waiting for one of the foremost contenders in HBCU football.
