Messi was watching Ronaldo’s iconic 2018 bicycle kick against Juventus on TV when he thought, “Too easy for me.” Then, in his next match, Messi tried a bicycle kick but completely failed. After that, Messi took it seriously and started training specifically for bicycle kicks. Eventually, he successfully scored one in training. Then, in his next match, Messi scored a bicycle kick for real, but his jump was nowhere near as high as Ronaldo’s. 🤣
