Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes have a lot of work to do if they wish to get back to the national championship game.

Despite being unable to reach the ACC Championship Game, Miami did enough to earn an At-Large bid to the College Football Playoff. It was there where they left their mark on the nation, beating Texas A&M, Ohio State and Ole Miss en route to the national championship game. They went down fighting against Indiana in the 27-21 loss.
Miami will have its season go underway on the road, taking on the Stanford Cardinal. That matchup takes place on Sept. 4 as kickoff commences at 9 p.m. ET.
