Buc-ee’s is taking legal action against an Ohio convenience store over its branding.
The Texas-based chain has filed a trademark lawsuit against Beaver’s Mini Mart in Beavercreek, Ohio, claiming the store’s smiling cartoon beaver mascot and red lettering are too similar to Buc-ee’s iconic logo and could confuse customers.
The owners of Beaver’s Mini Mart disagree, saying their logo reflects the local Beavercreek community and that they plan to fight the lawsuit in court.
Stay with River City News for updates on this high-profile trademark dispute.
