Ned Reynolds, Scott Puryear, and Art Hains dive headfirst into the Ozarks sports scene. We kick off the second hour of the show with a caller check-in from Coach Mark Stratton to highlight Nixa high school star Adam McKnight—a throwback three-sport standout who committed to play football for Casey Woods at Missouri State.
We then analyze Missouri State’s approved athletic master plan, detailing the upcoming renovation of McDonald Arena, the $6.5M budget, new end-zone suites, and the indoor facility rendering. Plus, we share our hot takes on what record Ryan Beard’s Bears need to achieve against an intense schedule to consider Year 2 in FBS a success. Finally, we unpack The Athletic’s report by Matt Baker regarding the Protect College Sports Act and how national conference expansion caps could reshape Conference USA and the college sports landscape.
