Tired of the College Football Chaos, where there’s more court cases than first downs? We’ve got the antedote as we take you back to the Golden Age of the sport, when names like Kern Tips, Connie Alexander, Jack Dale, Frank Fallon, Bob Barry, Jim Zabel, Chris Schenkel, Lindsay Nelson, Bud Wilkinson and Bill Fleming were uttered with reverence!
Radio opened the door to your imagination, more than any screaming talking head could ever do today on ESPN. The Southwest Conference was king, along with its’ Gold Standard, the Humble SWC Radio Network. Happy Motoring!
Plus a tribute to LSU’s late baseball genius, Skip Bertman.
