A new cinematic experience is coming to the Alamo. Officials say “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan will produce and direct a film retelling the historic 1836 battle.
The project will serve as the centerpiece of a state-of-the-art 4D theater inside the upcoming Alamo Visitor Center and Museum in San Antonio. Leaders say the immersive experience will use advanced visuals and sound to help visitors better understand the siege.
The new visitor center and museum is currently on track to open in 2028, offering a modern and interactive way to explore one of Texas’ most iconic moments in history.
